I think that the only limitation on the size is the size of the Windows
clipboard, which is 32K. This method is rather slow, but effective.

Subject: Support for PIC1000

Hi,
Does anyone know if there will be new versions of SonyML besides the two
out now; and if so, will there be continued support for the PIC1000?
Will new software/hardware come out soon?

Thanks,
Jacqueline

I would like to know this as well. I really like the 2000. I am thinking
of doing some development and cannot be sure of the future of the
device. Pretty hard to plan anything this way.

Subject: new rule request

I was wondering if any developers out there could come up with a new rule that
would work in conjunction with Presto!Links. I'd like to have a rule that
would update URLs at a specified times of the day, similar to the inbox rule
to collect messages at specified times.

With this rule, I could have my Link retrieve the latest news & weather (and
any other web-based info) before I wake up in the morning. It would be really
cool if it were possible to update web pages either daily at specified times,
or weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc., as some sites don't update their sites as
often.

Anybody up for it?

My apologies for sending everyone to the GM WEB site for CujoChat. I just assumed that Josh had put it up for downloading.

We all now wat ass-u-me-d stands for don't we?!

I am sure it will appear on their site shortly (especially since I forwarded
all of the mail that many of you sent me directly to Josh).

I was also wrong in saying that the default irc channel was MAGICCAP as it is
not. The default is #MAGIC LINK. Josh has set this channel up.

Sorry. Hope to chat soon with some of you.

BTW, the package is 84k in size.

For that channel, are there specific times people chat there, or it a
'stop in anytime' type of thing?

That sounds like a good idea, about the URL rule (well, when/if there is
one) I'd most likly use it.

Also, I was wondering if it's possible to have voice recognition for the
ML (I saw the same question in the newsgroups for another PDA). Maybe
have the ML dial up numbers by saying "Call Peter Walters..." or whatever.

To me, it looks like the Sony ML could have more...it does a lot, but
there's more that could be done.

Curious--do anyone use other PDA's (btw, is the Sony ML considered a PDA
or a Palm Computer?) as well as thier ML, and if so, how does the ML
compare with it?

Subject: installing BOOKREADER text!

I use Magic Xchange to install the Texts, which are about 1 meg
each. But my main memory only has about 250k of memory! How do
I fit a bookreader text such as Sherlock Holmes in my Magic Link?
Thanks.

Subject: SRAM meg cards

Could someone please post the phone number for Rebot or any other
supplier of meg cards and the current prices. It seems the price has been
been quite varied, last I heard was $69.00 for 2 megs.
I finally got Presto Mail and need to boost my pic 1000, any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! P.S. any special trick to loading the
card or formating?
