Really a great tool, thank you Mike Phillips. It was always the thing on y ML that I needed on the road. FYI, I had to use the "go to" in the storeroom locate package the first time. I have to say it again. This deal with Personalink really stinks. It was real simple. It was what these units were built around. I still feel we are like sheep going to the slaughter. PrestoMail is being held out like a carrot. PrestoMail ain't what we bought these units to run. BTW, its August 18th and I have not received my coupon copy. In twelve days my Links become paperweights. If you are an Envoy owner and you really want to get depressed, read the Personalink Wireless Manual that was issued with the upgrade. It was just what we waited for. It had true vision. Maybe I shouldn't complain. Just should be grateful to be on the cutting edge. Because of the time and money spent on the platform, I am sticking with it. I guess the powers at be know this about us so.... One more vent. I used MCW since day one. It is tied into our system. In 12 days its no good. ATTPLS was only option. It would of been great to have been able to use MCW 2.0 but the 100 beta copies are all gone I guess. How did they not think to make 2.0 available to the original beta users who would have something at stake already. So on the 31st we are out of luck again. Sorry so long.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the Magic Cap for Windows software offered to the public was a free, *pre-release* beta version, and should be regarded as such. Basically its intention was to garner user feedback on its functionality, and is unfinished by nature. It would be wise not to integrate it into a long term system that could be disrupted by bugs, unimplemented features or feature changes until the finalized retail version is released to the public. Because the first beta version was made publicly available for several months via the net, there is no way to tell who was and who wasn't using it. The choice to release 2.0 in limited fashion was made in part to speed up the testing process; it is expected that this 2.0 beta will become obsolete quickly as progress is made and another version is released. Keep an eye out for the next announcement from the MCWBeta team for details, and as always, thanks to everyone helping General Magic to make the most of the MCW software package! :) Best Regards, Luke Derossi for General Magic, Inc.
