Manage a team of software developers that are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Telescript-based applications and application frameworks. This position involves the design and specification of applications that demonstrate the agent based technology of Telescript. As part of this effort the candidate must engage in partnering activities with third party software companies.
Required Qualifications:
- Project management skills

- Detailed understanding of Microsoft product environments and agent-based software environments
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years of management experience
- 5+ years in software development

- Experience in object-oriented programming and systems software
- 3+ years of management experience
- 8+ years in software development
This candidate will be a member of a team that will design and develop applications and application frameworks based on the Telescript agent technology. These applications and frameworks will employ object-oriented design techniques and will interface with World Wide Web servers. Responsibilities will include packaging and installation of applications, testing and development of automated testing frameworks. Managing build environments and source control.

This candidate will be a member of a team that will design, develop, and maintain Telescript based agent technologies and products targeted for Microsoft platforms. This group is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Telescript environment which includes the Telescript Engine, Integrated Development Environment, and Web Tools. Enhancement of Telescript involves integration with DCOM, COM, ISAPI, TAPI, WOSA (ODBC, CRYPTO API, SNA) and other Microsoft enabling technologies.

- Strong experience in C/C++ and Visual C++

This candidate will be a member of a team that will design and develop network service enablers on Microsoft Windows NT. Responsibilities include packaging and installation of applications and testing and development of automated testing frameworks. Additional responsibilities include managing build environments and source control.

This candidate will be responsible for maintaining a 24-hour per day, seven days per week network hosting center. This will include installing, configuring, and supporting routers, switches, server systems, and network services. Candidate must work with General Magic's MIS group to maintain both internal and external network services. In addition to supporting the hosting center responsibilities will also include the installation and maintenance of computer systems for professional software engineers.
